Paraguay’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce presented the second edition of Paraguay Business Week, scheduled for November 11–13, 2026 in Alto Paraná. The event combines the 17th Expo Paraguay Brasil — themed “Technology, Innovation and Industry 4.0” — and the Alto Paraná Invest Forum 2026, focused on public, private and public-private partnership investment projects, with business matchmaking rounds.

It is organized by the MIC through the Investment and Export Network (Rediex), together with the Paraguay-Brazil Chamber of Commerce, with support from Itaipú Binacional and the Alto Paraná Governorate.

Why it matters

According to the MIC, the previous edition drew about 9,000 participants and generated US$420.8 million in business intentions at Expo Paraguay Brasil. The ministry notes that Alto Paraná concentrates 45% of the national maquila industry and more than 60,000 registered companies.

For foreign — especially Brazilian — companies considering Paraguay, it is an opportunity to learn about the maquila regime and the new incentives under Law 7548/2025.
