LFAS analysis
Keep in mind that “business intentions” are projections, not signed contracts. The real value of the business round lies in what happens next: turning a meeting into a well-structured distribution, agency, supply or investment agreement.
For Brazilian and other foreign companies, the Expo is a gateway to a market that offers the maquila regime and investment incentives. For Paraguayan companies, it is a chance to source machinery, inputs and technology from across the border.
At LFAS Legal Company we advise companies from both countries before and after the Expo: reviewing distribution and agency contracts, incorporating companies in Paraguay, structuring maquila programs and tax planning. If you are taking part in the business round, we can help you lay the legal groundwork for the deals that come out of it.
